Wednesday 23rd September 2020: Sydney: The world’s first fully interactive digital television channel, Oz Kids Network has announced the production team for two new children’s series which commence filming in October 2020.
This is Paul Macionis’ first big move after his departure from NBCUniversal and recent appointment as Chief Operating Officer at Australian Production House. His priority for the company was to recruit the best children’s television producing talent in Australia.

Their expertise ramps up our creative team to the next level and they will deliver world-class Australian made content for children’s entertainment for Australia and around the world’.” said Paul Macionis.
The state-based producing teams begin immediately on Season Two of the global hit on the Network Skit This and Season One of the new show Animal Gaggles inspired by the Oz Kids Network audience. Filming for these productions will film in Melbourne, Queensland, Adelaide and Sydney and are due to premiere globally in December 2020.
Joining the Network is Michelle Lehman an experienced Series Producer, Producer, Director and Writer for children’s television. During her time at ABC in Sydney she worked on popular programs ‘Giggle & Hoot’ and ‘Play School Story Time’ and created over 50 episodes for the Disney Channels. Recently, she Series Produced a program for Nickelodeon which was broadcast in 120 countries. Her achievements include winning Tropfest Film Festival and has created her own content reaching over 80M views on YouTube.
Based in Adelaide, David Ngo has worked on numerous national and international productions, including the AACTA and KidScreen New York award winning animation series ‘The Adventures of Figaro Pho’ for ABC/BBC, ABC series ‘Tough Jobs’, reality series ‘My Restaurant Rules’ and ‘My Generation’, as well as feature films ‘Martha: A Picture Story’ (Tribeca, Sydney) and the James Beard Award winning documentary ‘Barbeque’ (SXSW, Netflix). Recently he has produced the critically acclaimed feature films ‘One Eyed Girl’ (Austin Film Festival: Winner – Best Picture) and ‘Rabbit’ (Sitges Film Festival, FantasticFest). In 2015 David won the Melbourne International Film Festival's Best Producer Award.
To complete the new team, in Melbourne Conor Jobson joins from ABC with vast experience and is a sector expert in creating children’s content. For over 10 years, Conor held senior roles as Senior Producer and Writer, Director, Talent Producer and Researcher for school-aged education and entertainment channel ABC ME, along with producing for radio on major radio networks in Australia.
